The M\u014dvi is unresponsive.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If the firmware update process on an M-Series M\u014dvi has been interrupted, it can cause the M\u014dvi to become unresponsive (often referred to as bricked).<\/p>\n<p>Causes of interruption include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manually interrupting the update process<\/li>\n<li>Interference from other Bluetooth devices in range of the M\u014dvi<\/li>\n<li>Bluetooth signal lost during update<\/li>\n<li>Interference from WIFI<\/li>\n<li>The battery was low on the M\u014dvi<\/li>\n<li>The battery was low on the device running the GUI (Android device, PC, Mac)<\/li>\n<li>There is a screen-saver and\/or energy saver mode program running while the firmware update was in progress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If it becomes unresponsive during a firmware update, you will need a jumper cable to reset your system.
