We&#8217;ll update this FAQ as we have more questions and answers for them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can dealers resell the Flying Sun?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Yes!\u00a0Reach out to your favorite Freefly Authorized reseller to get a quote.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>When will my pre-order ship?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We plan to ship the first batch the last week each month starting in late June 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Can I only buy the lights (or tether) if I already own a Freefly aircraft?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No. For now, we&#8217;re only selling complete kits which include the aircraft, light, and tether.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How long can I fly before landing?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>7 days! Just keep your generator topped off.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How long will the LEDs last?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our standard 1-year warranty covers this product. We expect these lights to last at least 5 years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What kind of generator do you recommend?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Any generator that can produce 5+kW at 240V.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Can I adjust the light direction or beam focus?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>While on the ground, you can adjust light direction. You cannot currently adjust the beam focus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Can the lights change color or provide IR illumination?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Can I use a camera with this system?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Yes, please see the respective payload capacity for each variant of Flying Sun.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Does it have a parachute?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No, please reach out to our friends at <a href=\"https:\/\/dronerescue.com\/\">Drone Rescue Systems<\/a> for their ASTM certified parachute solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What happens if the tether stops working?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The onboard battery will safely power the aircraft for several minutes and initiate an automated landing based on user configurable preferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Do you have a strobe light that meets the 3SM visibility requirement for Part 107 Night Operations?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No, there are several inexpensive options online that can easily be added.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Does an operator need a Part 107 to use this product in the U.S.A.?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Yes, most operators will still require a Part 107 certificate even with the aircraft actively tethered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Do you have other questions about Flying Sun?
